German Boss Desk from Mauser, 1955

The bulging, curved plate measuring W 199, D 100 cm was the largest available version. When the user uses the straight front, the plate is bulged on the front to provide space for a conversation. The Mauser works in Waldeck, formerly one of the best producers of steel furniture in Germany, launched the MULTIFORM program in 1950. Starting with the basic dimensions of width 200, depth 100 cm, twice the depth equals the width, a wide variety of configurations were on offer, with one or two boxes. Two centrally lockable boxes with full extensions on slide rails offer maximum storage space. All drawers have a pull-out stop, as is usual with quality furniture.

few signs of wear. Buy back from customer after 20 years of use. The shapely executive furniture was formerly restored in elegant silver with clear lacquer. The paintwork, since it has been burned in, is in very good condition. The tabletop covered with linoleum shows some signs of wear, some of which are stronger. The two decades of careful private use have done it more good than harm, as a careful age patina has developed, which can only be achieved through lived time. No structural damage, no impairment of function.
