Louis Feraud was an artist and showed his work at legitimate exhibitions, including one at the Grand Palais and at New York’s Urban Gallery. He was also not only a designer and an artist, but an author, and he published two novels in French. Among his many awards, Feraud won the Golden Thimble prize for excellence in couture in 1978 and 1984, and was named officer of France’s Legion d’Honneur in 1994. We have always loved his pieces and have many of them in our collection.
