Vintage table “Spyder” model from Ettore Sottsass for Knoll. Ettore Sottsass is the founding Italian designer of the postmodern movement. The round chamfered glass tray rests on tubular steel feet curved in electric blue with transparent polycarbonate tips. Unique model because new electric blue color on special order. This table is a fine example of the Italian postmodern design movement from the 1980s. The top has no cracks on the banks of the glass, scratches due to use are present on the surface. Some bursts in the painted finish. Original KNOLL documentation present with the purchase invoice from 1989.
