Vintage Design
Unique minimalist Norwegian seating set model 1001 designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Møbler in 1959. This still very beautiful and rare set was made in the early 1960s and consists of two armchairs (slipper chairs), a two-seater sofa and a coffee table. There is a nice contrast between the materials used: the chrome-plated steel tubes, the aubergine leather and the teak with beautiful wood grain that balance the design nicely. The condition is still very good with some light wear on the frame and wood. A set with character; the leather is in good condition with no tears and/or cracks. Dimensions: armchairs h x w x d = 78 x 62.5 x 80 cm and the seat height is 40 cm, two-seater sofa: h x w x d = 78 x 123 x 78 cm and the seat height is 40 cm, coffee table: h x w x d = 49 x 70 x 69 cm. All furniture is marked: Dokka Møbler, made in Norway (see photo). An asset for a luxurious office or modern interior.
