This rattan chair was designed in 1951 by the Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler for the Italian restaurant The Basket and produced by J.Bally in Switzerland.

This chair was awarded the MoMA’s Good Design Award in New York.

A lovely set of imposing organic dining chairs, Dutch. This set was produced late 70s, early 80s and probably from Holland. Sometimes they are attributed to Mobil Girgi but we feel more in the style of. The chairs are in a great vintage condition with only very small scuffs but no real chips or deep scratches etc. The original upholstery is still in great condition although 3 pieces have some dark discoloration as can be seen in the pics. This set would also look great in a new upholstered bouclé fabric for example. They sit remarkably comfortable.

Afra and Tobia Scarpa, set of 10 leather and wood chairs made for Cassina, Italy, 1967. It is one of the icons of Italian design, a perfect piece of furniture to be used as dining chairs but also for study or office. The chairs are perfectly original in every detail, no restorations were made as they are in very good condition.

Set of 4 dining chairs, model 57, designed by Niels Otto Moller and produced by J.L. Moller in Denmark since the 1960’s. Solid quality teak wooden frame finished with a recent papercord seating. The legs have been lengthened with 3,5 cm to match today’s sitting standards. In near mint condition. Very comfortable chairs.

Danish design like only the Danes can make it themselves! This set is not marked and quite rare, because you rarely come across them. The seats are greatly designed and the finished frames, with smooth shapes and rounded corners are a feast for the eye and very beautiful in construction. On a top first class Danish quality in construction, use of materials as well as in design! The upholstery is made of a light version, nice soft, clean, intact and perfectly fitting in a wide range of living styles, timelessly beautiful, and super comfortable, exactly what makes Danish design so special, and loved. In a very neat well -groomed condition, an exclusive design that has always been handled neatly.

1950’s Dark Beech Side Chair – Oswald Haerdtl Model 515 – Pair. This chair was produced by the famous Czech firm Ton, still trading today and producing beautiful furniture, they are an offshoot of Thonet. This model was designed by Oswald Haerdtl in 1955, Model 515, produced in the fifties the chairs are rare and in exceptional condition. Seat Height 47cm
