A large rectangular wood tray designed by Don Shoemaker and handcrafted circa 1950. Using exotic local wood in Mexico such as Cocobolo, Shoemaker designed and manufactured his signature collection of furniture as well as smaller accessories. The tray is made from alternative strips of dark wood (cocobolo) and light maple with natural grains, beatifically joined together to create a geometrical design.

Beautiful gilt and deep brown custom made wood mirror. Very elegant mirror that can hang both vertically or horizontally. Perfect in many different spots.

This charming piece of pottery is fully glazed on the bottom and has an artist signature, which is why I feel it is only inspired by the older Song Dynasty Cizhou jars and vases. The composition of the forms is very artfully done with what appears to be alternating dragons and mermaids.
