Made in the 1950s, they excellently represent the refined and sober style of the time.
Designed by Gio Ponti one of the greatest Italian architects and designers, who dictated the style of post-war Italian design and who still today sets a precedent for innovation, creativity and beauty.
Produced by ISA Industria Salotti e Arredamenti founded in the late 1940s in Ponte San Pietro, a small village outside Bergamo.
In the 1950s, thanks to the success achieved by producing based on designs by great designers such as Gio Ponti and Guglielmo Veronesi, ISA increased production until it had 400 workers.
The sofa is in an excellent state of conservation, the wooden structure is original and intact and has no defects.
The upholstery has just been replaced with a steel blue and intense forest green silk velvet which makes it modern but at the same time classic and elegant.
This living room is a piece of design history, they can be combined with both modern and antique furnishings.
