Vintage Design
Florence Knoll was one of the most renowned designers of the 20th century. Their innovative designs shaped the idea of modern living and have had a lasting impact on subsequent generations of designers. Characteristics of their design philosophy were simplicity, functionality combined with the highest aesthetic level.
Together with her husband, Hans Knoll, she runs the designer furniture manufacturer Knoll International. The brand is still one of the most important manufacturers in the field of furniture design.
Florence Knoll was honored by the US Congress with the National Medal of Arts in 2002.
The armchair 65 is a design from 1955. Construction with frame made of chrome-plated square steel tube. Cover made of orange-colored fabric. Original cover.
Covers with signs of wear. One of the armchairs shows significant wear on the seat. The foam in all of them has partially hardened and should be replaced.
